1) FORKLIFT TRAINING COURSES
(a) One day refresher

(b) One Day Safety Induction/Awareness Course
The one-day refresher course is designed for the previously trained operator whom has undertaken and passed the basic operators skills test. Once completed successfully, the successful candidate would gain an RTITB Ltd certificate of refresher training (9 hours).
N.B: Proof of previous certification & training must be available for inspection. Maximum of 3 candidates per course. 3.1.1.

| (b) THREE DAY COURSE (existing untrained operators) |
This course applies to operators whom have a minimum of 12 months experience, but never been tested.
The candidate shall be tested in three areas, which are:
• Pre-use inspection of forklift truck
• Written theory paper
• Practical skills test
N.B: An assessment may be undertaken prior to this course.

| (c) 5 DAY COURSE (Complete novice or beginners) |
This course applies to those whom have never operated a liftruck in the past. The candidate will be taught in every area of Basic operators skills.
A one-day Health & Safety induction to the course begins, followed by the introduction to the truck, controls & instruments relevant. Truck inspection, working on slopes & inclines, loading & unloading flat bed vehicles, metal stillages and a host of different shaped loads & material handling. A written associated knowledge test follows the practical assessment. Once completed, the successful candidate will gain a Basic Operator skills test certificate accredited by RTITB Ltd.
Maximum of 3 candidates per course. 3.1.1.

| (d) 7 DAY COMBINED COURSE |
This course applies to novice operators, whom have never operated liftrucks. The same timetable as above, but with a 2-day conversion on to the Industrial Reach truck. The Reach truck is able to work in more confined spaces in and around warehouses and other working environments.
